Retell of Peter Rabbit

Thank you for finishing your retells last week!  I hope you liked the story of Peter Rabbit.  He was a very curious rabbit who did not listen to his mother's warning about going into Mr. McGregor's garden.  He got into Mr. McGregor's garden to eat his vegetables and almost got caught.  After being lost in the garden, he barely escaped and lost his shoes and jacket while he was running away.  

Here is a completed Story Map from one of your classmates and an example of a retell.  Remember when retelling stories, you need to include details about what happened in the beginning, middle, and end.  Also, please remember your capitals, periods, and to write in the PAST TENSE because the story has happened already.  We will be retelling another story tomorrow!
