Yesterday we reviewed our 3D shapes and you found some examples in your house! Shapes are everywhere! Before the break, we also talked about how 2D shapes make up 3D shapes. We made our own 3D shapes out of 2D nets. For example, a cube is made out of squares.
Please name each 3D shape below and match it to their net. After, you may choose to make your own 3D shapes so that you have them to work with throughout this math unit. You can CLICK HERE for the nets of some 3D shapes. You will need a printer, paper, scissors, and tape.
