Happy Earth Day! We only have one Earth and we need to take good care of it. Remember The Lorax and The Great Kapok Tree? Those stories are a perfect reminder for us to respect nature and our planet. Here are the stories again if you want to listen to them one more time.
What are some ways we can help our Earth? Take a blank piece of paper and some markers and make a poster about that for children everywhere! We have made posters before for Media Literacy. Here is the Success Criteria for posters again:
Learning Goal: We are making a poster for children that show ways we can save our planet.
Success Criteria:
- I have a catchy sentence/words (for example: "Recycle! Reduce! Reuse!" or "Walk to school.")
- I have a colourful picture that catches the audience's eye.
- My words are big enough to read.
