These posters all have a short message and captures the attention of the audience by having lots of colour and a picture. Here are some of our posters:

Family Tree Projects
Congratulations on finishing your first project in Grade 2! Many of you did a wonderful job on your family trees and it was exciting to share them in class! It was nice seeing your extended families!
Spelling Poem #8: 5 Little Jack-O-Lanterns
It
is almost time for Halloween! Most boys and girls are excited about
this celebration because it involves a lot of dressing up and candy.
This week I have a song called ''5 Little Jack-O-Lanterns''. We are
learning about numbers in Math and I picked this particular song
because it has ordinal numbers, such as first, second, third. We should
not only know our numbers, but also our ordinal numbers as well because
it is important for sequencing (as well as the date....we say
''thirty-first, not thirty-one''). Remember to do the Additional Questions for a sticker prize!

Our final projects for our Social Studies unit went home and students have to create their very own family tree. Remember that you can use real photos, printouts, or draw your family members. Below is the Success Criteria again so you know how to get a Level 3 or 4. This project is due Monday, October 28. I look forward to seeing everyone's family tree!
