Our own Cereals!

Remember to brush your teeth!

In Health, we learned about healthy eating using Canada's healthy plate.  Just as important as healthy eating, oral health is also something that we should remember to keep up!  We should be brushing our teeth at least twice a day, once in the morning, and once at night.  We talked about how food particles can get stuck in our teeth and how our mouths are full of bacteria, some good and some not so good.  By brushing our teeth, it gets rid of the food and most of the bad bacteria.

Today, I sent home a brushing calendar....please record whether or not you've brushed your teeth and flossed each day.  Place the calendar on your fridge and have an adult sign the calendar for January 31.  If your calendar is complete, you will get a special treat!  Happy brushing and flossing!!!

New Year Resolutions

Happy first week back!  Boys and girls have been getting back into the routine of school!  We read a story called 'Squirrel's New Year Resolutions' and discussed what some of our resolutions for this year may be.  A resolution can be something that helps others, or something that you want to improve or achieve.  Here are some of our resolutions for this year, what's yours?
